has passed first TL, but I'm not comfortable at all with releasing this one yet, so I'm going to look at things for a while before sending it off to WOW!Scans. I think part of it has to do with the chapter itself being a bit jumbled, but who am I to criticize?

This was a fairly smooth process as far as releases go, and I'm glad it turned out fine with no problems. Credit goes to the TS-er (currently anonymous); I know that many people wouldn't be able to enjoy these series otherwise.
I included the older chapters I did for preservation's sake, since WCW 07 was how I started doing this whole thing in earnest. I guess I did TL 1 or 2 Hoozuki chapters before that, but that thread ended up with me starting Usagi Drop as well. It's always nice to track progress now that I have the necessary framework to do so. Enjoy, and support Animexis when they release the real HQ stuff.

Unlikely, but if you found your way here
by way of /a/ collective scanlation, some information to quell at least a bit of the unrest:
1. Tomacata and I are two different people. Some of the confusion that led up to this was most likely my unwillingness to adopt a tripcode until things were getting out of hand. I TL'ed Usagi Drop 36-50 (whichever was the last one out) with him, but for reasons that should be obvious on his site by now he chose to stop working on the series. As some people have said, I'm not the greatest fan of the series, but that isn't a factor in the work going on.
2. I am planning/ have planned to do the rest of Usagi Drop (at least the main storyline, if someone provides the other stuff I don't mind either), but raws are being provided by WOW!Scans rather than out there on the various channels of online distribution. Monthly scans have not been available, probably due to lack of interest? I will update this blog and the twitter for what it's worth, if you'd like to drop in while I'm translating.
3. WOW!Scans has graciously offered to post-TL the rest of the series, and I think this is most beneficial for the audience out there. If someone else wants to release faster scans, s/he should take it up with them personally. I personally don't have a problem with different releases trading off speed and quality, but I also don't read them so take that as you may. They will most likely post scans on their site, so I don't see any need to divert traffic from them.
Update: After talking to WOW!Scans, they have said they plan to do a timely release of the remaining chapters, and kindly request that other individuals/groups not try to release their own SLs.
