has passed first TL, but I'm not comfortable at all with releasing this one yet, so I'm going to look at things for a while before sending it off to WOW!Scans. I think part of it has to do with the chapter itself being a bit jumbled, but who am I to criticize?

ReplyDeleteThe scans for 55 and 56 aren't up yet at WowScans, but interestingly they're up at one of the on-line manga readers (I forget which one off hand, but it was one of the major ones, not mangafox though). I assume it's the old versions. Anyway, I'll wait until the version you're happy with is posted up on Wowscans since it seems you've decided to do some major revisions. I'm happy to waits, so I'm holding off on the last few chapters so I can marathon the ending 4 chapters all at once :) But didn't see any comments here and just wanted to say THANK YOU to you and all involved in helping finish off this manga.

ReplyDeleteThe revisions probably won't be as major as you're envisioning, just a bit of cleaning here and there to make the translation more cohesive. If you have walked away with a good grasp of the dialog flow then I have done my job correctly. If not feel free to bring it up whereever; if it's totally out of line then I will have to take another long look at it.
No problem, but I'll still wait until the revised ones get posted somewhere (hopefully not too long) :) This is the ending, after all. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteI realize most of the people involved in the prior translations (j-SIS, DREDSHI, and such) may not want to hear it, but thank you very much for translating this series. I've really enjoyed all of it and I'm looking forward to the final chapter.
